It is a common occurrence between men that they feel insecure about their private area and they seek answers that can boost their confidence. Men often turn to penile enhancement techniques so that they can feel better about themselves and gain confidence. Penis enlargement, or male enhancement, is a method to increase the length and width of the penis. The choice of treatment depends on your preferences since there are different types of techniques that involve surgical and non-surgical procedures.

Before Treatment:

There are a number of things you need to consider before going into any kind of treatment. Do you need to go through surgery? Are you satisfied with a non-surgical procedure? You need answers for these kinds of questions that are for sure circulating in your head at any given time prior to the consultation. Which is why you need to refer with a consultant andrologist who can help you out and clear all of your doubts.

If you are considering surgery then you might need to see if you need circumcision or the removal of the skin that covers up the tip of the penis, or not. Your andrologist will fill you in with all of the safety measures you will need to take if you go through with surgery and give you all sorts of advice on how to proceed.

During Treatment:

Penile enlargement involves both surgical and non-surgical procedures. The non-surgical methods include:

  • The Priapus shot which is a natural enlargement method. Growth elements from the blood vessels, also known as plasma rich platelets are extracted in a special way and then injected into the penis that results in growth.
  • Dermal Fillers are also used for male enhancement. They usually work in increasing the width rather than having any effect on the length or the erection.

Patients can also opt for a surgical procedure which is:

  • Penoplasty– a surgical method used to increase the width, and length. It is a pain-free procedure since the patient stays unconscious throughout. It takes around 60-90 minutes depending on if you want the length, girth or both enlarged. Sometimes the doctors might ask the patient to stay overnight to oversee any complication that might occur.

After The Surgery And Recovery:

For the P-Shot, recovering is not a big deal. You should be able to resume your normal daily activities from the next day or even the same day! Although you should avoid sexual activities for a couple of days after getting the shot so that the injected area does not get infected. Postpone some of the physical activities as well because too much sweating can affect the area.

With dermal fillers, recovery is not a big problem as well. You will only experience some swelling that can be managed. Normal activities may be resumed after two days, however, physically taxing activities should be avoided for a week.

Finally, with penoplasty, swelling lasts for around 2-3 weeks before complete recovery. If you get an infection in the area, it can be treated with antibiotics prescribed by the specialist. Mild bruising may occur in the operated area as well. Recovery takes up to 2 weeks and you should avoid going to the gym and performing in any sexual activity for 4-6 weeks.

Consult with your specialist to receive the right advice before getting a penile enlargement treatment.
