Newborn vs. Adult Circumcision
Newborn circumcision is straightforward and common, performed for religious, medical, or personal-choice reasons. It typically takes around 5-10 minutes under local anaesthesia, with healing complete in 5-7 days. Adult circumcision is less frequent and requires greater surgical skill. The procedure takes around 1 hour under general anaesthesia, with a recovery period of 2-3 weeks.
Why Be Circumcised as an Adult?
